ECR (Reformation through Education and Charity) was founded in 2010. Initially, we focused on HR consultancy, partnering with airports, airlines, hotels, and multinational companies. In 2014, we expanded into the education sector by establishing ECR Institute of Management Studies, affiliated with Mangalore University and approved by AICTE. We further strengthened our presence in the healthcare education sector by acquiring Canara College of Nursing in 2015 and Soukhya College of Nursing in 2018, both of which are affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University and approved by the Indian Nursing Council.
ECR is the first college to introduce innovative learning experiences, such as AI-powered teaching robots made by ECR BCA AI students in association with MAKERLABS and visual representation classes. Our curriculum goes beyond academics and literature, focusing on essential career-building skills, including language proficiency, communication, public speaking, and leadership development through in campus part time jobs in association with multinational companies.
To support financial independence and real-world experience, ECR offers part-time job opportunities, enabling students to earn up to ₹70,000 per month through our learn and earn program . Additionally, we ensure 100% placement assistance with campus recruitment drives, helping students secure successful careers immediately after graduation.

The ECR Trust (Reformation through Education and Charity) was founded in 2008 with the intention of assisting academically gifted but financially underprivileged youngsters. ECR is a charity and educational organisation that supports professional education by sponsoring or awarding scholarships to deserving but financially strapped students. Since 2009, a lot of students have realised their dream of attending college with ECR’s assistance through various scholarship programmes.
In addition to encouraging education among students, we also provide a variety of degrees and diploma programmes with a high level of education. We put a lot of effort into preparing our pupils to become entrepreneurs rather than employees. We also help our students develop strong work ethics and place a high value on soft skills in addition to hard talents.
For the past ten years, our chairman, Mr. Madhu T. Bhaskar, has performed placements for prominent airline businesses. He was assisting many national and international airports, as well as airlines, in finding aviation specialists. Later, he discovered an oddity: due to a lack of qualified candidates, airline businesses are not hiring them. In other words, businesses didn’t think that professionals were qualified enough to be hired for the positions. Another crucial element was that while most applicants for interviews were in possession of diplomas rather than diploma certificates, which are required for permanent airline jobs. Because of this, the majority of the applicants were hired on a contract basis. That’s how the idea of a degree in aviation first entered his head.
He and his colleagues came up with a whole syllabus with the intention of creating a degree in aviation, and they sent it to the Mangalore university for approval. And it received speedy approval! The introduction of degrees in aviation and hospitality management was a first for India. ECR Aviation College and its staff introduced our nation to aviation degree programs and assisted students in obtaining their desired positions in the industry.
Our teaching members have advanced degrees and extensive professional experience in the aviation business, including airline, mission, manufacturing, corporate, and military aircraft. Our faculty has the expertise to add a unique depth to the lab and classroom.

They provide their students with hands-on airport training at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru so they can gain practical experience. Additionally, with 240 students enrolled in aviation courses each year, they are the largest aviation college. In India, this is the maximum number. They guarantee placement in every case and offer the most placements possible. Every year, more than 34 airline firms come to their campus to recruit employees.
